Time For The Tok Guru To Move Aside November 30, 2009

Kelantan Mentri Besar or the legendary Tok Guru Datuk Nik Aziz Nik Mat has categorically stated that he will continue to serve as long as his services are needed.

But how would he know that his services are still needed and for how long more?

Does he know that the rakyat are getting tired and weary with his antiques? His old age is showing his fatigue and the recent controversies surrounding him are also indicators that he is mentally ‘exhausted and dog-tired.’

He could not even disguise between black or white, morale and deceitfulness.

His controversial Haj sponsored trip and the appointment of Abdul Ariffahmi, his son-in-law as the CEO of the Kelantan Mentri Besar Incorporated (PMBK), are among the signs of his political tiredness and his inability to tell between what is morally right or wrong.

Even Nik Aziz’s son Nik Abduh was offended by the controversies created by his own father when he said that the family was deeply hurt and disturbed by the appointment of Ariffahmi who had since resigned from the post. Nik Aziz was adamant when he kept on saying that there was nothing wrong with the appointment of Ariffahmi to the post. Come on Tok Guru. The rakyat are not that stupid.

PAS and DAP were quick to condemn former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad when his son, Mohzani was appointed as director of several public-listed companies. They accused Tun M of practicing cronyism and nepotism. Tun was bashed up by Anwar’s protégé during Umno AGM which prompted the release of a full list of government contracts, projects and Approved Permits and their beneficiaries. The list was suffice to prove that Anwar’s friends and family members made up more than 50% of the list.

So, this Tok Guru who is propagating and preaching Islam, morality and good values said he saw nothing wrong with the appointment of his son-in-law as the PMBK’s CEO.  He also said that it was not a sin for him to accept a friend’s offer to pay for the Haj trip for him and his family costing more than RM150,000. That’s a big sum and don’t tell me that this friend of Nik Aziz, who is a contractor, is not expecting anything in return. Even the Mak Cik in Nik Aziz’s constituency will say that it is morally wrong.

In fact, a delegation from PAS headquarters, led by party president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang, conveyed the party’s stand that it was against the appointing family members in state-owned organizations before Nik Aziz announced his decision last Monday.

“Hadi is more rational in handling issues which can jeopardize the future of the party, campared with Nik Aziz who often bullied him,” wrote Kickdefella who was removed after MACC began investigations into Ariffahmi’s for alleged abuse of power.

The aging Tok Guru had even accused one Colonel Mat whom he claimed had orchestrated the whole episode to topple him, the party and the state government. Well, that’s not peculiar of the Tok Guru who likes to blame others except himself.

The Tok Guru also said that he will only step down due to old age or because he is ill. But having been there for the last 19 years has taken its toll on him. Or maybe he actually wants to create a record of sort for being the longest serving MP or leader in the country’s history. Nk Aziz even refuses to name his successor as the next Kelantan Mentri Besar.

Well, as Tun Dr Mahathir had said. Step down while you are adored by the people or get booted out in disgrace when the people no longer like your face.

What Happened To The Bai’ah Probe Ordered By Hadi? November 14, 2009

Bai'ahPAS president Datuk Seri Haji Hadi Awang said he was surprise over the ‘oath of loyalty’ ruling and ordered a probe on the matter.
He said there was no directive requiring the party’s elected representative to divorce their wives should they leave the party.
Expressing surprise over the issue, Hadi has ordered an immediate investigation into the matter.

Khalid SamadProbe? What probe and where is the probe? As far as I can remember and since the bai’ah or loyalty oath came to light, neither PAS nor Hadi has initiated any investigation into the matter. If there is a probe, who is in charge of the investigation and what is the status of the investigation. I have also not heard Shah Alam MP Khalid Samad being hauled up for opening his big mouth about the bai’ah. In fact, Khalid who revealed about the loyalty oath has defended it.

Khalid said PAS’ elected representatives must take politics seriously and not betray their supporters and party. In short, what Khalid is trying to say is that they can betray their wives and destroy their families but not their party and supporters, many of whom they don’t even know or recognise.

Can Hadi or any PAS leader explain to the people whether there is really a probe or PAS was just trying to appease its supporters. I am astounded with Hadi’s ignorant over the loyalty oath. How can he not know something so degrading and mean.

Well, that’s PAS leaders. Quick to revile others but refuse to look at themselves in the mirror. They are turning their marriage into a game and put their wives as a bet in politics. They will just do anything g for politics. Just look at the PAS members and supporters during by-elections. They wear skullcaps and robes but behave like hooligans and monkeys.

The bai’ah had drawn a lot of criticism not only from Women NGOs, the public but from their own comrades in Pakatan Rakyat because it is an obvious insult to women.

DAP chairman Karpal Singh was taken aback when he heard the news said, “Why must the wives become the victims?” Even a non-Muslim like Karpal Singh cannot fathom and understand they could resort to such a demeaning approach to show their loyalty.

Divorce is hated by God as marriage solemnisation is a big promise made by a couple towards Him and the witnesses. In Islam, even though divorce is halal, it is makruh (disliked or undesirable) because God detests the action. Marriage solemnisation is not something playful.

Being a man with great wisdom, can Hadi explains this further or can he pronounce that bai’ah is legal in Islam and is not a felony to the religion.

PAS Needs To Undergo A Bypass To Remove A Blockage October 27, 2009

Tok Guru Nik AzizWhile the MCA leadership crisis coming to a close stage, PAS is grappling with the same trouble when the party’s Tok Guru calls for the ouster of PAS president Datuk Seri Hadi Awang, secretary-general Datuk Mustafa Ali and the party’s  Selangor commissioner Datuk Dr Hassan Mohd Ali.

Funny and amusing! Someone claiming himself to be pious and a devout Muslim demanding for the removal of his fellow comrades over some petty issues Nik Aziz must be very angry and annoyed with the trio’s insistence to patch up with Umno.

Nik Aziz Versus Hadi AwangThe so-called Tok Guru has been calling the removal of two or three leaders in the party which he deemed as problematic.  Hadi, Mustafa and Dr Hassan are leaders insinuated by him although he did not name them. Hassan is seen as representing the pro-Umno group, like Hadi and party deputy president Nasharuddin Mat Isa.

Who is actually problematic? I think PAS needs to undergo a bypass surgery to remove a blockage so that the party can continue to function.

Can you label someone who proposes unity and promote the spirit of brotherhood in Islam as being problematic? Only Nik Aziz I guess.

If you study the character of Nik Aziz and his style of leadership over the years, you will agree with me that power has gotten into this old man’s head. He cannot be advised, scolded or reprimanded. I believe age is also catching up on him and causing him to be senile.

He also plays God when he labelled all Umno members as infidels as well as handing down a decree that God permits us to slur each other. There are many other instances to show that Nik Aziz had come to a point of no return where nothing can make him repent or regret for whatever he had uttered. To him,  being a faithful and devout Muslim is secondary as long as he remains in power. I don’t blame either s his supporters and disciples also worship and make him believe as if he is God.

Abdul Kahar who claimed to be the last Prophet was jailed 10 years, fine and given six strokes of the rotan for deviationist teachings. I believe Niik Aziz has also fallen into that category but no one dares to touch him.  He thought that he is indispensable.

Nik Aziz was brought up in a family regimented by strict Islamic rules. As far as I can remember, he has many siblings from his father, Nik Mat’s  three marriages. One of his siblings named Nik Hussein was shunned by the family because he chose to be an army. Nik Hussein was labelled as the government’s dog because of that. Nik hussein’s wife was affectionately known as Mak Yah who hails from Kedai Lalat in Kota Baru Kelantan.

Mak yah said whenever a visitor came to Nik Aziz’s house in Kota Baru, females in the family should confined themselves in the room and not allowed to show themselves to the visitor. They would ride in a horse carriage which was fully covered whenever they travelled to the town.

Nik Aziz has been an MP since the early 70s. He was born in Pulau Melaka in Kota Baru in 1931. His advocacy of Islamic Syariah law to all Malay Muslims has however drawn criticism, as did his suggestion that women would be at a lower risk of being raped if they abandoned their lipstick and perfume and for a 15-year ban on the game of snooker.

PAS-Nik-Aziz-BaculI think many would agree with me that PAS actually doesn’t need an EGM as proposed by the Tok Guru. What the party really needs now is an immediate bypass operation to remove the blockage (Nik Aziz).

Anwar’s Big Headache March 24, 2009

Speculations are again rife that Anwar Ibrahim will make a second attempt to wheedle Seberang Jaya state assemblyman Datuk Arif Shah Omar Shah to join PKR by offering him the Penang Deputy Chief Minister’s 1 post vacated by Mohammad Fairus Khairuddin last week.

Anwar knows that Arif is one unhappy man in Umno as Arif has been constantly suppressed by his Permatang Pauh division chief Datuk Abdul Jalil Abdul Majid.

It is believed that PKR state information chief who is also a state executive councillor Abul Malik Kassim, the Batu Uban state assemblyman, may not get the post.

Abul Malik who has been eyeing the post was behind the orchestrating of Fairus’ resignation. Both of them had been involved in backbiting ever since they assumed office after last year’s March 8 general assembly.

Abul Malik was the Tanjung Umno division youth chief in the early 90s. He was operating a travel agency based in Komtar before he joined Anwar.

Fairus has relinquished all his positions in the state government except his state assemblyman post.

A close aide to Penang Chief Minister told me that Fairus may be asked to vacate his Penanti state seat to make way for a new person to contest the seat if Anwar fails to smooth-talk Arif.

The person will subsequently be appointed to replace Fairus as the new Penang Deputy Chief Minister 1 if he wins.

But what if PKR fails to defend the seat? I think it is too risky for Anwar to take that chance as he is aware that Prime Minister in-waiting Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak is getting momentum in his agenda to reforms and make changes in Umno and the government.

And Barisan Nasional may wrest the seat if it is contested.

Lim is washing his hands over Fairus’ resignation issue and has repeatedly said that it is Anwar’s territory and he should be the one to answer all questions about Fairus.

Anwar is having a big “headache” now to control his own party and men. And he may suffer even a BIGGER HEADACHE to prove his innocent when his sodomy trial begins.

Lim Guan Eng Is A Beggar Now March 11, 2009

Tackle economy, Penang told reads the headlines in an English daily while the sub-heading reads Groups want government to stop politicking and deal with pressing issues.

This is the state government that Penangites have today. The state leaders, especially Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng, is busy politicking and digging the past mistakes of the previous state government.

He has failed to live up to the expectations of the rakyat and fulfill his election promises.

Based on what I observed, Lim had gone to the extent of becoming a beggar when he constantly beg for money from the federal government to help boost Penang economy.

The latest was when he confidently said that the federal government would help Penang inject RM30bil to put the state’s economy back on track following the current economic crisis.

RM30bil? Lim must be joking and dreaming.

Why should the federal government waste that much money for Lim when there are many other states ruled by Barisan Nasional that need the fund.

What happen to his 2008 election manifesto? He was overwhelmingly confident when he said the DAP do not need the help from the federal government when he appealed for votes during his election campaign.

He and his father condemned the federal government for wasting money on mega projects. But Lim is singing a different tune now when he helms the state. He begs the federal government to fund mega projects which he had vehemently opposed when he was outside the state government.

The projects include the RM4.3bil Second Link Project, the RM1.02bil Penang Outer Ring Road project and the LRT plan for Penang.

Actually, Lim is a confused man now. He doesn’t know how to generate income for Penang and maintain the economic competitiveness of the state. Bear in mind that Penang is the Silicon Valley of the country.

So, Lim has no choice but to go back to Barisan Nasional’s drawing board and copies the projects that had been drawn up and planned by the previous state government.

He will then claim that the projects are implemented during his time. But where is Lim going to get the money for the projects? He can keep on dreaming.

This is the CAT philosophy promoted by Lim in his state administrative. A lazy CAT that likes to copy.

I will not mention the title Datuk Seri when I mention Anwar Ibrahim’s name in my write-ups as it is not because I hate him so much but I don’t think he deserves the title.

For the second time in a month, the Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah has condemned Anwar and his supporters for being rude, ill mannered and unabashed, given that they had been nurtured from the time of their ancestors in the customs and traditions, good behavior and courteousness.

The Sultan is irate with the recent political turmoil caused by Anwar and those who had constantly provoked and questioned the position and constitutional rights of the Malay rulers.

Sultan Sharafuddin said though the Malays would not be eliminated from the earth, it would be pointless for them to remain as an uncivilised and unrespected society that can be easily manipulated by others.

Anwar was instrumental in acceding to Karpal Singh’s daring statement challenging the Sultan of Perak.

Anwar is also behind the racial statements and slurs made by Chinese and Indian leaders against the Malays.

Anwar is the perpetrator behind the orchestrated court cases filed by the defunct Perak state assembly speaker V. Sivakumar and former Mentri Besar Nizar Jamaludin and others challenging the rights of the Sultan of Perak.

The habitual sodomite is also the culprit causing the split among the Malays in this country.

I agree with Sultan Sharifuddin that Melayu will not be extinct from the earth. What I am worried is that it will only remain as the Melayu in baju Melayu and Keretapi Tanah Melayu.

Tree House Is Only Fit for Monkeys March 7, 2009

THE leader of the Tree House (I thought tree house is only meant for monkeys), V. Sivakumar, has failed in his bid to be represented by his appointed counsels in two civil suits against him filed by the state government.

Well, that sums it all – doing monkey business by someone who doesn’t even know the law, albeit, holding the highest position in the noble House.

It is an open secret that Anwar Ibrahim is the culprit behind the shameful and ignominious act of PKR Perak assemblymen in holding the controversial state assembly session under a tree after they were barred from entering the House.

Like I said, trees are associated with monkeys and those seen participating in the illegal state assembly session are actually behaving like primates and embarrassing the country.

These blokes just do not care about law and order as long as they serve Anwar’s political ends.

I wonder when Anwar’s political circus is going to end. I do not see Anwar making any efforts to help the rakyat who are now grappling with the current economic turmoil.

And I have not heard Anwar making any plan or suggestion to help the country weather the economic storm.

He was quick to offer his “economic stimulus package” and other economic plans as well as a promise to reduce petrol prices during the height of the petrol crisis and before the 12th general election.

But why is he keeping quiet now when the country is facing real economic problem? Has he forgotten about the rakyat?

That’s Anwar. He will use the rakyat to his maximum advantage and pursue his political ambitions. Let us not be fooled by the BIG MONKEY.

Dissenting In PKR Penang Worsens March 4, 2009

The current political storm has not only swept the former ‘Tin Mine’ state of Perak but the tempest is also brewing in Penang.

Dissenting in PKR Penang is reaching its peak following the latest expulsion of Zainal Abidin Saad who was Special Officer to Mohamad Fairus Khairuddin, the beleaguered Penang Deputy chief Minister. Zainal was “fired” by his boss Fairus, on February 9, the seventh officer axed by Fairus since he assumed office about a year ago. Zainal, who is Anwar’s close aide, has sworn that he would take on Fairus in the next general election if Fairus decides to defend his Penanti state seat.

PKR Batu Uban state assemblyman Abdul Malik Kassim has taken over the portfolio of state Islamic Religious Committee chairman from Fairus who was recently dropped from the post. State PKR chairman Zahrain Hashim confirmed this after his meeting with Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng. The long-standing feud and power struggle between Abdul Malik and Fairus saw the former emerging as winner as Fairus has fallen out of favor not only with his boss Anwar, but also Guan Eng.

Guan Eng has lost for words on how to discipline Fairus as Fairus is not under his purview politically but was chosen by Anwar to warm the Deputy Chief Minister’s seat which was allocated to PKR under the Pakatan-Rakyat power sharing concept.

Guan Eng was also caught with his pants down when Fairus was implicated in a corruption case exposed by PKR’s national exco youth member Amizudin Ahmad who was former Seberang Perai Municipal councillor in his no-holds barred Press conference recently.

Well, it is time for Guan Eng, who has been talking about his CAT (Competency, Accountability and Transparency) philosophy to walk the talk and take action against Fairus. But does Guan Eng have the political will to do so?

Lets Hope The April Fool Joke Will Be On Anwar March 3, 2009

I sighed a huge relief when I heard news that our Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi reaffirms his commitment to hand over power to his deputy, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

Of course, the people are apprehensive, as they have heard nothing about power transition between the No 1 and No 2.

All they heard was speculations, rumors and gossips about how Pak Lah wanted to cling on to power despite having less than a month in office.

Pak Lah said he would stick to the plan to hand over the prime ministership to Najib.

“That is the plan that I have made, so we will have to follow the plan,” Pak Lah was quoted as saying by the all the newspapers.

We hope he will honor his promises as anything can happen in this crucial one-month period. I believe it will be the longest one-month in Najib’s life but let’s pray to Allah that Najib will eventually assume the No 1 post after the next Umno general assembly.

This literally means that Najib will officially assumes office on April 1. I hope it will not turn out to be an APPRIL FOOL joke.

It will be a crushing blow for the Opposition, especially habitual sodomite, Anwar Ibrahim, as he was hoping that Pak Lah would remain in office so that he could continue to wreak havoc and tear the nation into pieces through his divide and rule stratagem.

It is time that Anwar and his supporters realize that he is not THE FACTOR that determines the future and course of the country. It is the people who will ultimately decide who should lead the country and what they want the country to be like.

Come April 1, the joke will be on Anwar and not Najib.
