Lim Guan Eng Runs Out Of Steam November 29, 2009

Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng is running out of idea. He is perturbed and feeling disconcerted over the re-emergence of Barisan Nasional. The 1Malaysia, Prime Minister for all Malaysians’ catchphrases introduced by Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak since he took over the Premiership in April are sweeping across the country and getting down well with the people.

Najib is also articulate at international forums and platforms and his ability to attract US investors during his recent visit to the US is disturbing not only Guan Eng but his comrades in Pakatan Rakyat including his father Kit Siang and PKR de-facto leader Anwar Ibrahim.

Of late, the Pakatan blokes are worried over the not so good publicity and media hype about the turmoil in the Pakatan Rakyat coalition. Anwar has now become a big liability to PR as his sodomy trial is looming. Anwar’s PKR will lose ground if he is convicted and the people will not believe him and his conspiracy theory anymore.

PAS is another headache with the ongoing media bashing against the Tok Guru over his son-in-law and PBMK isue, his controversial Haj sponsored trip and the latest being the power struggle in PAS Kelantan.

These issues are real and Guan Eng is speechless and lost for words on how to deal with them. In fact, he could not even defend himself over the controversial land conversion concern which he had been dodging over the past two weeks. He is hoping that the issue will disappear in thin air.

Lim has now become dim-witted. A friend of mine in Penang recently sent me a test message which made me wonder why Lim had stooped so low in his fight against BN.

I was told that Lim had issued a directive to all state agencies, local councils and departments under his jurisdiction not to put up advertisements in print and electronic media aligned and friendly to Barisan Nasional, except The Star. The order was his latest strategy to fight BN.

We all know why The Star was given the exception. The Star in Penang had been helping Lim to promote his ideologies, the state government’s policies and jingles as well as Lim’s political struggles and doctrine. Many know who is behind The Star in Penang and why this bloke is using the newspaper to help Lim. He was handpicked by The Star Editor-In-Chief Datuk Seri Wong Chun Wai to lead Penang. He succeeded Anna Cheah who retired after more than 30 years in The Star.

I was told that this bloke had accessed to Guan Eng’s office and home and the latter would only accept his calls and not from other reporters or editors based in Penang.

And for the record, Guan Eng, through his errant boy, Datuk Zainal Rahim, the state secretary and for former MPPP president had ordered the director of State Development Office, Nik Ali, out of his government bungalow for refusing to co-operate with the state government and Guan Eng. In retaliation, Nik Ali had ordered all staff under the federal government to boycott all functions held by the state government.

I would like to enlighten yon readers that Zainal was implicated for corruption while serving as president of the local council before assuming the state secretary, a post he has been eyeing for sometime.

You can get details of his alleged abused of power from his buddy, Fadzil Hassan, the famous contractor in Penang or you can ask the outspoken Pak Deris, who is Fadzil’s cousin and also nemesis.

L Is For Lim, Land and Liar November 18, 2009

Haq Char Yaar (Urdu: حق چار یار ) (meaning rightous four friends) is reference to first four Caliph of Islam. They are Sayyidina Abu Bakr, Sayyidina Umar, Sayyidina Uthman and Sayyidina Ali.
Of the four great Caliphs of Islam, Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng chose to adopt the administrative style of Umar, or also known as Umar the Great or Farooq the Great. Umar was the most powerful of the four Rashidun Caliphs and one of the most powerful and influential Muslim rulers.

Lim was impressed with Umar while he was under ISA detention, especially when he discovered through his readings that Umar was an expert jurist and is best known for his justice with Muslims and non-Muslims subjects alike, that earned him the title Al-Farooq (The one who distinguishes between good and bad) and his house as Darul Adal (house of justice). Also, Umar was the first Caliph to be called Amir al-Mu’minin, commander of the faithful.

Umar’s name was not only used by Lim to be popular and deceive the rakyat. He even introduced many other slogans including
Competency, Accountability and Transparency (CAT) and amal makruf nahi mungkar (do good and do no evil) in his administration.

Lim brags about how he would infuse Umar’s good values in his administration to inspire the people and promotes his other jingles.

However, Lim did not only walk his talk but had tarnished the good name of Umar and ridiculed Islam in way when he lied to the state assembly and the people over the conversion issue of a piece of land in George Town.

He was caught with his pants down when he was found lying and misleading the House by Pulau Betong state assemblyman Muhamad Farid Saad during the recent state assembly proceeding.
Farid had accused Lim of trying to conceal the facts from the House when Lim said the issue of land conversion for the PDC Heritage Hotel Sdn Bhd would be referred to the National Land Council next month when actually Lim had already approved the land conversion for the project in June.

The proposed hotel project is a joint-venture between YTL Corporation Berhad (51%) and PDC (49%). PDC is the investment arm of the state government.

PDC heritage Hotel would be building luxurious condominiums and an eatery on a seafront site adjacent to the 124-year-old Eastern and Oriental Hotel in Lebuh Farquhar in Penang.

Lim has been keeping quiet and has not blown his own trumpet since the land controversy came to light a month ago. Unlike before, he has been silent about his clean, trustworthy and graft-free administration. The writing is on the wall. Lim is a man with a forked-tongue and could not be trusted. Lim is tasting the bitterness of his own medicine.

What Happened To The Bai’ah Probe Ordered By Hadi? November 14, 2009

Bai'ahPAS president Datuk Seri Haji Hadi Awang said he was surprise over the ‘oath of loyalty’ ruling and ordered a probe on the matter.
He said there was no directive requiring the party’s elected representative to divorce their wives should they leave the party.
Expressing surprise over the issue, Hadi has ordered an immediate investigation into the matter.

Khalid SamadProbe? What probe and where is the probe? As far as I can remember and since the bai’ah or loyalty oath came to light, neither PAS nor Hadi has initiated any investigation into the matter. If there is a probe, who is in charge of the investigation and what is the status of the investigation. I have also not heard Shah Alam MP Khalid Samad being hauled up for opening his big mouth about the bai’ah. In fact, Khalid who revealed about the loyalty oath has defended it.

Khalid said PAS’ elected representatives must take politics seriously and not betray their supporters and party. In short, what Khalid is trying to say is that they can betray their wives and destroy their families but not their party and supporters, many of whom they don’t even know or recognise.

Can Hadi or any PAS leader explain to the people whether there is really a probe or PAS was just trying to appease its supporters. I am astounded with Hadi’s ignorant over the loyalty oath. How can he not know something so degrading and mean.

Well, that’s PAS leaders. Quick to revile others but refuse to look at themselves in the mirror. They are turning their marriage into a game and put their wives as a bet in politics. They will just do anything g for politics. Just look at the PAS members and supporters during by-elections. They wear skullcaps and robes but behave like hooligans and monkeys.

The bai’ah had drawn a lot of criticism not only from Women NGOs, the public but from their own comrades in Pakatan Rakyat because it is an obvious insult to women.

DAP chairman Karpal Singh was taken aback when he heard the news said, “Why must the wives become the victims?” Even a non-Muslim like Karpal Singh cannot fathom and understand they could resort to such a demeaning approach to show their loyalty.

Divorce is hated by God as marriage solemnisation is a big promise made by a couple towards Him and the witnesses. In Islam, even though divorce is halal, it is makruh (disliked or undesirable) because God detests the action. Marriage solemnisation is not something playful.

Being a man with great wisdom, can Hadi explains this further or can he pronounce that bai’ah is legal in Islam and is not a felony to the religion.

Has Anyone Seen Rashid (the Sg Buloh ex-convict)? November 7, 2009

Anwar's LoverAnybody knows Rashid and his whereabouts? Which Rashid? That Rashidlah. The one who was released from the Sungai Buloh prisons couple of years ago. So, you don’t know which Rashid I am talking about.

Ok. Let me tell you which Rashid. This Rashid I am talking about is the man who was with Anwar Ibrahim while the ex-DPM was serving his sentences in the prisons.

Anwar bumped into Rashid when they were in the Sungai Buloh prisons and since then they became intimate. Rashid was Anwar’s sex partner in Sungai Buloh and they had been together even after both of them were released from the prisons.

I am trying to get his pictures posted  on this blog  and a friend is trying to get his contact numbers. I hope I could talk to him and let you all know more juicy stories between him and Anwar Ibrahim. Wan Azizah and Azmin Ali know about Anwar’s scandal with this Rashid. Wan Azizah, especially, will become hysterical whenever you mention Rashid’s name to her. In fact, I also heard through a close friend that Anwar was still having an affair with Shamsidar Taharin, Azmin’s wife. They were seen together when Anwar was in Australia.

This mysterious man,  Rashid. Rashid had been frequenting  Anwar’s house and both of them would spend  time together in a library in the house.  I have never seen this  Rashid but ask any of the PKR top leaders and they can tell you who this Rashid is. Or maybe they will not tell you if you are not close to them.

Box Office - Sodomy III am not surprise over the revelation and existence of this mysterious man. Anwar has so many people who are mysterious and alien to us. That’s Anwar Ibrahim. Anwar’s former tennis partner  Datuk S. Nallakaruppan had recently exposed about Anwar’s close relationship with his VP Azmin Ali.  Azmin also receives special treatment and privileges from Anwar. Azmin was Anwar’s  former private secretary when he was DPM.  Ezam Mohd Noor,  Anwar’s former political secretary and AMK chief,  has confirmed Nalla’s statement as truth. According to Ezam, there were 30 over staff in Anwar’s DPM office. Anwar did not care if any of his staff was missing but would notice and feel uneasy if Azmin was not around. Why? A question which had not been answered by either Anwar , Azmin or Wan Azizah.

In fact, Pas president Datuk Seri Hadi Awang knows about Anwar’s past activities including his unnatural sex behaviour. But he chose to remain silent as he doesn’t want to offend his Pakatan Rakyat leader who is now his comrade. Hadi doesn’t care about Anwar’s past as long as one of them could inhabit Sri Perdana. Hadi is willing to compromise on Islamic values and morals for political and Anwar’s sake. Like his Tok Guru,  Hadi is also a leader with a fork tongue.  We cannot change them anyway. They are beyond redemption.

I believe Hadi also knows about this Rashid guy.  Maybe he will only reveal the identity of Rashid when he does not pakat (in collusion) with Anwar Ibrahim anymore.

PAS Needs To Undergo A Bypass To Remove A Blockage October 27, 2009

Tok Guru Nik AzizWhile the MCA leadership crisis coming to a close stage, PAS is grappling with the same trouble when the party’s Tok Guru calls for the ouster of PAS president Datuk Seri Hadi Awang, secretary-general Datuk Mustafa Ali and the party’s  Selangor commissioner Datuk Dr Hassan Mohd Ali.

Funny and amusing! Someone claiming himself to be pious and a devout Muslim demanding for the removal of his fellow comrades over some petty issues Nik Aziz must be very angry and annoyed with the trio’s insistence to patch up with Umno.

Nik Aziz Versus Hadi AwangThe so-called Tok Guru has been calling the removal of two or three leaders in the party which he deemed as problematic.  Hadi, Mustafa and Dr Hassan are leaders insinuated by him although he did not name them. Hassan is seen as representing the pro-Umno group, like Hadi and party deputy president Nasharuddin Mat Isa.

Who is actually problematic? I think PAS needs to undergo a bypass surgery to remove a blockage so that the party can continue to function.

Can you label someone who proposes unity and promote the spirit of brotherhood in Islam as being problematic? Only Nik Aziz I guess.

If you study the character of Nik Aziz and his style of leadership over the years, you will agree with me that power has gotten into this old man’s head. He cannot be advised, scolded or reprimanded. I believe age is also catching up on him and causing him to be senile.

He also plays God when he labelled all Umno members as infidels as well as handing down a decree that God permits us to slur each other. There are many other instances to show that Nik Aziz had come to a point of no return where nothing can make him repent or regret for whatever he had uttered. To him,  being a faithful and devout Muslim is secondary as long as he remains in power. I don’t blame either s his supporters and disciples also worship and make him believe as if he is God.

Abdul Kahar who claimed to be the last Prophet was jailed 10 years, fine and given six strokes of the rotan for deviationist teachings. I believe Niik Aziz has also fallen into that category but no one dares to touch him.  He thought that he is indispensable.

Nik Aziz was brought up in a family regimented by strict Islamic rules. As far as I can remember, he has many siblings from his father, Nik Mat’s  three marriages. One of his siblings named Nik Hussein was shunned by the family because he chose to be an army. Nik Hussein was labelled as the government’s dog because of that. Nik hussein’s wife was affectionately known as Mak Yah who hails from Kedai Lalat in Kota Baru Kelantan.

Mak yah said whenever a visitor came to Nik Aziz’s house in Kota Baru, females in the family should confined themselves in the room and not allowed to show themselves to the visitor. They would ride in a horse carriage which was fully covered whenever they travelled to the town.

Nik Aziz has been an MP since the early 70s. He was born in Pulau Melaka in Kota Baru in 1931. His advocacy of Islamic Syariah law to all Malay Muslims has however drawn criticism, as did his suggestion that women would be at a lower risk of being raped if they abandoned their lipstick and perfume and for a 15-year ban on the game of snooker.

PAS-Nik-Aziz-BaculI think many would agree with me that PAS actually doesn’t need an EGM as proposed by the Tok Guru. What the party really needs now is an immediate bypass operation to remove the blockage (Nik Aziz).

Najib Calling Early General Election? October 23, 2009

Datuk Seri Najib Tun RazakWords are spreading like wildfire within Umno circle that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak will call for an early general election, probably in the first quarter of 2011, barely two years after assuming the premiership post.

“It will be early 2011,” a close-aide to Najib and an Umno strongman said.

Najib is buoyed and confident over his 1Malaysia, People’s First and Performance Now slogans which he thinks have turned into magic and widely accepted by the people.

The recent Umno Constitution Amendments had also increased the people’s perception and support for Najib and his popularity had also doubled due to his well-liked policies and administration of the country.

!MalaysiaNajib had been harping on the rakyat slogans ever since he took office in April this year. I still remember his walkabout sessions in Petaling Street’s China Town, Kampung Kerinchi  and Brickfields during his first week as PM. His walkabout in Puduraya was the last that I could remember.

An Umno division head in the federal Territory  said Najib did not want to continue leading the country under the feeble mandate  given by the people during Pak Lah’s administration, less than two-thirds majority. The mandate received by Pak Lah was the worst in Barisan Nasioanl history.

“He destroyed Umno and BN and wreaked havoc the country,”  Pak  Lah’s predecessor Tun Dr Mahathir once said.

Najib  has every reason to call for an early general election as he wants a new mandate, a  true mandate by the people to appraise his leadership qualities and  policies.

“Najib needs a strong mandate to carry on with his work and policies for the rakyat. He needs more time to implement all policies he had promised to them. He cannot have peace of mind with a weak mandate,” the division chief who wished not to be named said.

With Makkal Sakthi (The People’s Power) declaring support for BN and Najib, he hopes to muster Indians support through the newly-formed party. Najib has lost faith with MIC as long as Samy Velu is there.  Many had also asked why Najib did not use his position to force Samy to step down. It is not Najib’s character and style to do so as it might backfire on him and cost BN dearly in the next general election. That is the main reason why Najib had accepted Makkal Sakthi’s invitation to officiate the opening ceremony of the party.

It is also a clear signal of Najib’s unhappiness to MIC and Samy Velu. But being deaf and dumb, Samy just couldn’t care less as long as he remains in power and hold his grip tightly on the party.

With MCA now facing uncertainties and leadership crisis, Najib will be at the crossroad whether to call for an early general election or hold on to power with the weak mandate obtained by his processor Pak Lah.

We hope Najib will not make the wrong decision. He should not take all advice from his subordinates in his office. And Najib should be extra cautious with the advice given by his “blue-eyed boy “ and all his boot-lick friends.

UMNO On The Road To Recovery October 13, 2009

UMNO LogoUmno will be amending its constitution, which is seen by some political observers as an effort to win back the people’s support for the party.
As the dominant political party in the country, such change is important for Umno to regain the trust and confidence of the people, especially party members.

The amendments among others will empower 146,500 party members to choose Umno president and his deputy and other top leaders in the party, something which has been long overdue. The grassroots voice in the past had been denied by a mere 2,500 delegates to the Umno general assembly whereby the leaders chosen by them might not reflect the grassroots choice.

One of the much awaited amendments is the abolishment of the nomination quota system, a system which is believed to be contributing to widesrepad money politics in the party.

The amendments to be made to the party’s constitution at the special general assembly on Oct 13 will determine the party’s survival in the country’s political landscape.

This is what the rakyat and party members had demanded for and Umno is doing just what they had asked for. We hope changes will not just be made to the party’s constitution but more importantly, the attitude, approach and mindset of its leaders and members.

The just concluded Bagan Pinang by-election where former Negeri Sembilan MB Tan Sri Mohd Isa Samad emerged victorious could be used as a barometer to gauge the start of Umno’s reincarnation and the renewed rakyat’s confidence in the party.

The thumping majority of 5,435 vote-majority won by Isa is a testament of the people’s support for Umno despite BN losing in the last seven by-elections. Although the Opposition had declared that the battle for Bagan Pinang was all even before campaigning started, they were still hoping that they could reduce the 2,333 vote-majority won by Umno in the 2008 general election. But they were in for bigger disappointment when the Bagan Pinang voters stood united behind Isa and BN and gave them a clear mandate to lead not only Bagan Pinang but the country.

The idea of abolishing the nomination quota system by amending the party constitution had been voiced by Umno President Datuk Seri Najib Razak even before the party’s supreme council decided on the proposal, aimed at making the party elections more transparent, open and democratic.

Two commitees were formed — the Umno Constitution Amendments Main Committee and Umno Constitution Amendments Technical Committee — which are responsible to obtain feedback from the grassroots.

Dato' Sri Hishammudin Tun HusseinChairman of the main committee, Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein, said the amendments were proposed based on five rationales, namely empowering the grassroot members, making it easier for members to contest for posts, making Umno more inclusive to all groups, shortening the campaign period and easing the party membership process.

Kudos to Umno and we hope reforms being made to the party constitution will not be last one. Umno should stay alive ad infinitum for the survival of the Malays and future generations.

… continue from Anwar’s RM3 Billion Funds and Master Account Part 3.

15.    1 stronglv believe that wrong information has been given to the authorities implicating me with Ben Harta Sdn Bhd. I point my finger at Tong Kooi Ong and the two shareholders of Ben Harta. They have implicated me to save their own skin.

16.    Apart from the properties held under Ben Harta Sdn Bhd. I also know that a few. properties have been bought for investment and  the Master Account and for Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s  future personal use. These properties located around Kuala Lumpur are valued at about RM I 5 million.

17.    As regards the damaging policies adopted by BNM following the economic  recession in July 1997, 1 must categorically, state that I was opposed strongly to these policies. I opposed the “Legal Lending Limit”, the reduction of  NPLs (non-performing loans) from 6 months to 3months,  the “Credit Crunch” introduced in October 1997 and the Higher Rate of Interest. These were all policies endorsed and adopted by Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. A few concerned BNM officers/executives and I tried to halt these Policies from being implemented. Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim even censured me for speaking out against these policies. He accused me of being “too close to the market”. I now realise that these harsh measures –were Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s political plan to crush the economy and bring Malaysia to its knees in order to invite in the international Monetary Fund (IW) to enable Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to force Dr Mahathir to resign and take over the Prime Minister’s position.

18.    Following my arrest and my subsequent resgination as Executive Director of RHB Bank Berhad I have thought over my involvement with Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and have come to realise that what I have done, though as I said earlier was forced upon me as one of the Executives in BNM, is indeed very regrettable. I now realise that I have been exploited and made use of by Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to hold assets for his political and personal use and benefit. These assets including those held under Ben Harta, do not belong to me. As such, it is up to the government to take the necessary legal action in respect of their disposal, including forfeiture if permissible.

19.    1 now call upon all peace loving and loyal citizens of Malaysia to Reject all the political manoeuvres by Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and his supporters and instead support all the economic and fiscal efforts to bring back the economic well being of the country. I am ever ready and willing to go public to denounce the improprieties and machinations of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in furtherance of his political ambitions that are indeeddetrimental to national peace, security and political stability.

ln conclusion. I state in unequivocal terms that this Press Conference/Release made by way of Statutory Declaration was made by me voluntarily, without any inducement, threat or promise or coercion from any quarter, nor in return for any favours or special treatment in Connection with the charge that I am now facing AND I make this solemn declaration conscientiously, believing the same to be true and by virtue of the Statutory Declaration Act, 1960.

Signed by the above named

DATO’ ABDUL MURAD BIN KHALID at Kuala Lumpur, the day of 26 Oct 1999.

… continue from Anwar’s RM3 Billion Funds and Master Accounts Part 2

APPC organised “The Pacific Dialogue” conferences under the Patronage of  Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. The First Pacific Dialogue was held in Penang sometime in November 1994. The Second Pacific Dialogue was held in January 1996, the Third Pacific Dialogue in November 1996 and the Fourth Pacific Dialogue in January 1998. There was supposed to be a Fifth Pacific Dialogue to be held in December 1998 but it was cancelled because the Patron was no longer the Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister of Malaysia. All the Pacific Dialogue conferences were held in Malaysia because Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim was the major source of funding for APPC.

11.    In what I strongly believe as tantamount to a betrayal of public trust, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim also insisted that APPC should manage BNM’s  reserves of RM50 Billion and the EPF fund in return for the Services provided to him by APFC. Alternatively a hefty fee of USD 3 Million was to  be paid annually to APPC for the cost of running the Centre in Washington. Fortunately this instruction of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim for APPC to manage the above funds was never put into effect. What I have stated above goes to prove without doubt that Datuk SeriAnwar Ibrahim was indeed an unscrupulous leader who was prepared to sacrifice the country’s coffers for the benefit of its political ambition with the help of foreign element. The current developments that are taking place in the country which threatened the public peace and well being of the Rakyat to further Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s political ambition are ample proof to support this assertion.

12.    1 was also directed by Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, then already appointed as the Finance Minister, to assist the following persons to clear their debts as described below:

(a)    Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim instructed me to help settle the debt of Tan Sri Abdullah Ahmad (now the permanent representative to the United Nations) with Bank Bumiputra of more than 10 Million. I helped to negotiate the settlement amount of RM7 Million. An amount, of RM5 Million was taken from the Master Account to help pay the debt. The balance of RM2 Million came from Tan Sri Ahmad Abdullah from the sale of his land.

(b)    Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim instructed me to help settle Puan MarinaYusof’s debt with local banks amounting to more than RM20 Million. I presented her application to the Tabung Pemulihan Usahawan (TPU) for assistance to develop her land along Jalan Tun Razak, on which is now the completed Complex Marinara. The TPU panel approved her application. Puan Marina Yusof is extremely grateful to Datuk SeriAnwar Ibrahim.

(c)    Penang based Mercury Securities owed MUI Bank more than RMI0 million secured by a 3rd party land charge. The majority shareholder is Chew Seng Guan and one Encik Ahmad Kamal whom Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim groomed to be up-and-coming Bumiputera businessman and politician. I subsequently helped  to arrange for the sale of the land to Matang Emas Sdn. Bhd. a company owned by Encik Taib Hamid, the sale of which incidentally also sorted out some of Encik Taib Hamid’s personal problems. The same piece of land was later sold to TPPT Sdn Bhd by Encik Taib for a low cost housing project which is now known as Taman Tun Perak.

(d)    Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim instructed me to help Dato’ NazriAbdullah’s Group to take over NST Group from Renong. I sought the assistance of Hong  Leong Group to structure the deal. I spoke to Seow Lun Hoo and Quek Leng Chan of Hong Leong. They proposed that Dato’ Nazri’s Group use MRCB as vehicle to take over the shares of NST. I then spoke to Maybank to arrange a loan for Dato’ Nazri to buy into MRCB and another loan for MRCB to buy into NST.

(e)    I was directed by Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to help Encik Faiz Abdullah  (Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s ghost writer), together with Seow Lun Hoo of Hong Leong to buy into Kewangan Usaha Bersatu Berhad (KUBB), then owned by  ldris Hydraulic Berhad. The scheme involved using Arus Murni Berhad formerly known as Timuran Berhad, a company listed on the Main Board of the KLSE as the holding company. I approached the following banks to help syndicate the loan for the purchase of KUBB shares costing above RM400 million: 1. Hong  Leong Bank. 2. Hong Leong Finance. 3. Sime Bank 4. RHB Bank. 5. Southern Bank. 6. BSN Commercial Bank. Faiz Abdullah is a verv clever ghost writer and political operator for Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. He is also a lawyer, ex-joumalist and ex-SpecialBranch police officer.

13.    My involvement with Tong Kooi Ong and “Master Account” in Furtherance of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s instructions landed me in trouble with the law. On 16th September 1999 1 was charged with failing to disclose truthfully information on Ben Harta Sdn Bhd shares and 51 of its properties allegedly held for my benefit totalling RM23.9 million.

14.    1 must state that I never knew the two gentlemen purportedly to be the shareholders of Ben Harta Sdn Bhd  i.e Gan Hong Sin @ Lan Hong Sing and Gan Sor Ting. Tong Kooi Ongdid indicate to me that this company holds properties and shares as part of the scheme to raise funds for Datuk Seri Anwar. I have  never been shown or seen the books of the Master Account handled by Tong Kooi Ong. I am not aware of any shares held by Ben Harta on my behalf, nor the locations of the 51 properties allegedly also held on my behalf, except one (1) apartment and one (1) bungalow which I was entrusted to maintain for purpose of investment and to be later sold for the Master Account.
