KJ’s Reign Is All Over, At Least For The Time Being April 10, 2009Posted by malaysianstory in A New Chapter, Najib Tun Razak.
As I have expected, Tun Dr Mahathir’s son, Datuk Mukriz was among the 40 Deputy Ministers named in the new Cabinet line-up announced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.
And as I have also expected, the boy who used to control and command Umno and the government machinery was not included in the line-up.
His reigned in Umno and the Government is all over, albeit, winning the party’s youth chief recently.
My salute to Najib for his bravery in sidelining Khairy Jamaludin, the son-in-law of former Prime Minister, Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, although Najib knows that this boy would use his position to cause trouble and pressure him to get his ways.
Najib has to put the interest of the 26mil rakyat and nation above that of KJ as the latter has not proven his worth to be in the Cabinet.
He was there because of his father-in-law and not on merit.
Remember the book titled “Khairy: Perdana Menteri Malaysia Di Usia 40”? The second edition of the book was never printed after money was paid out.
And copies of a second book about KJ, also written by the same author, titled “Tuah Dan Sial Khairy Jamaludin” were seized after they were put on sale during the recent Umno general assembly at PWTC.
The two books illustrate and explain in detail the power greed, filth, mafia style of command, government projects controlled by him and his cronies, his control over Umno and even his own father-in-law as well as his ambition to be the Prime Minister of this country at the age of 40.
The wings of the once untouchable KJ have been clipped, hopefully for a very long time.
KJ was said to be a big liability to the government and the party when his father-in-law was in power.
He was involved in most decisions made by his father-in-law, he was calling the shots in the award of government tenders and projects and he was decisive in finalising the list of candidates for the 2004 and 2008 general elections..
He was also consulted on who should be appointed in Pak Lah’s Cabinet.
And the worst part is that KJ idolises Anwar Ibrahim so much that he went to the extent of getting the sodomist out of the Sungai Buloh Prisons.
Thank God, it is all over now and I hope it will be over for good.
I dread to think the unmitigated disaster to the country, Barisan Nasional, Umno and Najib had KJ been named in the new Cabinet line-up.
Phew! What a relief!
