I have just spoken to one of PKR top leaders in Selangor and he confirmed this. There is infighting and power struggle in PKR Selangor.

PKR vice-president Azmin Ali is aiming Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim’s hot seat. No wonder Tan Sri Khalid is on his way out following investigations that he had misused his powers over maintenance of his Lexus RX350 and purchase of 46 cows for Aidiladha. In short, it was an inside work to expose Khalid’s scandal.

The allegations against Khalid are:

  1. Using state funds to purchase 46 cows worth RM110,400 which were distributed to his parliamentary seat in Bandar Tun Razak for slaughter during the last Aidiladha.
  2. Using the state funds to totalling RM7,797.00 to his maintain his RM1mil Lexus SUV.

And the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Council has substantiated the allegations against Khalid. MACC chief commissioner Datuk Seri Ahmad Said Hamdan said they have found good and strong evidence that Khalid had misused his powers.

“We recommend that prosecution action be taken against him,” he said.

Azmin must be thankful to Ahmad Said as his path to become the new Selangor Mentri Besar seems smooth now.

Well, it is Khalid’s turn now to steal the show from the embattled Elizabeth Wong who had since gone into hiding after his “telanjang” episode was made public.

As I have said before, the list of PKR leaders involved in scandals and wrongdoings goes on and on and on.
