Another Slap on Anwar’s Face February 4, 2009

The Pakatan-Rakyat State Government in Perak is in the brink of collapse. Many would have predicted this to happen as the state government is in a mess.

Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim blames Prime Minister in-waiting Datuk Seri Najib Run Razak for the whole untidiness.

The “Ngeh-Nga”, the two cousins who are Perak state exco members, controversy is seen as the main cause for the ugly episode.

The ‘Ngeh-Nga’ controversy is heightened with interference of DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng who have issued a ‘license’ for the cousins to dictate ‘terms and condition’ on how to run the Perak state government. In short, ‘Ngeh and Nga” are Lim’s cronies who care calling the shots in perak.

Ngeh is Perak DAP chief while Nga is his deputy.

It is widely known to everyone that Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Nizar Jamaludin has been ‘thumbed’ by Lim and the two cousins.

Everyone is aware that Nizar is just a puppet and errand boy for Lim.

Since Pakatan-Rakyat rules Perak after the 12th general election last year, there have been signs of discontentment not only among PKR elected assemblymen in but DAP MPs and ADUNs as well.

DAP’s state assembly deputy speaker Hee Yit Foong who is Jelapang state elected representative is one of those who is irritated by the behaviour of the two cousins.

Hee had been entangled in a controversy emanating from frustrations that had been rising steadily over the two cousins.

Ngeh is Perak DAP chief while Nga is his deputy.

Hee is a staunch supporter of Batu Gajah MP Fong Po Kuan who does not see eye-to-eye with Ngeh and Nga.

The disappearance of two Perak PKR state exco members, Jamaluddin Mohd Radzi and Mohd Osman Mohd Jailu, since the Chinese New Year says it all.

They have sensed something was not right from the beginning. With Nizar hands tied at his back, what can the two do to fight for the Malays?

The fact that Jamaluddin and Osman have a court case for corruption pending against them is merely a coincidence.

But the truth is that the heat is unbearable for them and they need to cool down. Their departure from Pakatan-Rakyat is done in the best interest of the Malays.

For DSAI, it is another slap on his face.
